Romanians stayed with their eyes on news over the week-end, when the main subjects were related to the abundant snow falls and the first code red alert in Romania.
News channels had, Saturday and Sunday, higher than average audiences, with Pro TV News reaching, Sunday evening, to over 3.3M viewers, while Antena 3 had over 650.000
The informative programs from the main generalist TV stations were watched by millions of Romanians. On Saturday, Pro TV News had almost 3M viewers, while the same program was watched, on Sunday, by more than 3.3M. Antena 1 was close, on Saturday, to 2M viewers on national level.
Antena 3 and Romania TV leaded in audiences among news TVs. In week-end, most watched news station was Antena 3, followed by Romania TV.
Saturday, the difference between the mentioned news channels was of few ten thousands viewers. On Sunday, Antena 3 had a bigger advance also in terms of daily average and when it came of prime time audience
