After, five years ago, a campaign made by Stirile Pro TV under the tagline “Do you know what your kid is doing” won an International Emmy Award, the TV station comes back with another campaign, “Do you know what your parents are doing?”.
The campaign treats another phenomena that appeared after Romanians left to work abroad, the one related to “old people, that are left home alone and are incapable to take care of themselves”.
Paula Herlo and Anca Nastasi, part of “Romania, I love you” team, will be involved in the new reportages project made by Pro TV News.
The campaign aims to demand authorities to act in order to protect those that are the 2nd generation affected by the massive migration, to build or arrange homes reported to their needs, to finance home care and to build day care centers in the affected areas where old people can socialize, get medical care and a warm meal.
