Alexandras Cesnavicius, chief of CME operations in Romania, is moving office in the middle of newsroom, and his desk will be right next to Pro TV’s news director, Gabriela Popescu.
Cesnavicius’s move right next to news’ coordinator comes in one of the tensest days in Pro TV. After some of TV’s employees received their Easter bonuses, they were announced, without any other explanation, that they have to return the money to Pro TV.
Initially, Pro TV’s employees were supposed to receive an Easter bonus of RON 500 (a little over Euro 100). Later, those that didn’t receive the money were announced that the bonus is cancelled, while the ones that already had the bonus money in their accounts were told that they need to return the money.
As a protest, Pro TV’s employees decided to donate the cakes received instead of the bonus to a children home after they initially intended to send them to Pro TV’s chief, Alexandras Cesnavicius.
Contacted by Paginademedia.ro, Pro TV’s officials declined to make any comments related to this situation.
