TVR’s Board approved Romania’s participation to Eurovision, music competition scheduled to take place in May, in Copenhagen, and the budget for this is of Euro 178,000, Mediafax writes.
Besides the approved financing, the participation to Eurovision will also receive financial support from Romanian government.
The decision on Romania’s participation to Eurovision 2014 was made, on Thursday, by the new Board from TVR, during the 1st meeting organized after its appointment by Parliament, on April 1st.
Romania will be represented to Eurovision by Paula Seling and Ovidiu Cernauteanu (Ovi), with “Miracle” song.
