Romanian Government to finance 24 magazines, among which Romania literara and Cultura, with a quarter million Euro

Romanian government finances 24 cultural publications, including Romania literara, Cultura, Convorbiri literare and Contemporanul – Ideea Europeana, with a total amount of Euro 248.306.

The highest financing – Euro 119.638 – was received by 8 publications from Romanian Writers Union (USR), according to a decision to supplement Culture’s Ministry budget.

Romania literara received Euro 33.860, while the other publications that received funds are Luceafarul de dimineata (Euro 11.286), Ramuri (Euro 11.286), Orizont (Euro 13.544), Apostrof (Euro 13.544), Helikon (Euro 13.544), Viaţa Romaneasca (Euro 11.286) and Steaua (Euro 11.286).

Romanian Government also financed publications belonging to other creators’ unions and also other publications, with amounts ranging between Euro 5,500 - 11,200
