Romanian local radios aren’t forced to broadcast 2 to 6 hours of local programming

CNA voted a project to modify the Decision 488/2010 with a series of amendments, including one that eliminated the obligation for local radios to broadcast daily between 2 to 6 hours of local programs.

Also, the project says that “the retransmitted program cannot be broadcasted to insert locally distributed advertising”. CNA’s document, in the adopted form, doesn’t cut from local advertising from local radios.

CNA received amendaments for Decision 488 from Radio Romania Actualities, Regional and Local Radios Association and Grecu Gabriel.
