Naming a new member within CNA: Radu Catalin Cristea – PNL’s proposal

Romanian journalist Radu Calin Cristea is Romanian National Liberal Party groups’ proposal as member in the Romanian National Audiovisual Council, Mediafax writes. The permanent bureaus of Representatives Chamber and Senat analyzed, in common session, a letter from PNL’s parliamentary groups on starting the procedures to appoint a new CNA member.

Cristea would replace Constantin Dutu, which finishes his term within the Council in December. In 2006, when he was appointed as member of CNA by Romanian Parliament, Dutu benefited of support from PRM, than part of the government coalition.

Cristea is journalist, former Radio Free Europe correspondent, writer and former director of Romanian National Literature Museum. Cristea also managed ad interim the Romanian State TV for almost one month, after Romanian Parliament fired TVR’s management board and its former President General Director, Alexandru Lazescu on June 12th, after rejecting TV’s activity report for 2011. Afterwards, Cristea took over Literature Art redaction, as interimary Editor in Chief.
