Sursa foto AdevarulA Bucharest court cancelled, on February 26th, the General Assembly of Adevărul’s Creditors, during which it was elected a 3 members Creditors Committee.

Instance’s decision came after 3 creditors - Pro TV SA, Pro Video and Domino Film – contested the January assembly.

During the General Assembly in January, a Creditors’ Committee was elected, with it including BCR, Elida Media and Red Media Digital. President of Creditor’s Assembly was elected Elida Media and, after the members were elected, the voting stopped. In spite of that, Pro TV SA - that has to recover debts of Euro 1M – also wanted to run for Creditors’ Committee. Moreover, in January, some of the participants to the assembly said that Elida Media and Red Media Digital are controlled by Adevarul Holding’s debtor.

Pro TV SA, Pro Video and Domino Production disputed in court the decision of General Assembly. The court decided, on February 26th, to designate a Committee including 5 members

When it comes to debts to recover from Adevarul, Pro TV has to get back euro 990,000, Domino Production – Euro 200,000 and Pro Video – 380,000.

Adevarul Holding has over Euro 94.2M debts, with the biggest creditors being Elida Media (over 50M) and BCR (Euro 6.7M).
