On entertainment front, Antena won January’s audiences, with Access Direct overcoming Happy Hour


simona ghergheTV entertainment was leaded, in January – a month when TV’s programs schedules are in holidays - , by the tabloid-shows.


In this context, Acces Direct (Antena 1) had 100,000 more viewers on urban level than its competitor, Happy Hour from Pro TV.

The 2 productions had audiences way over the average from last year: Acces Direct – 877,000 urban viewers (8.3 rtg) and Happy Hour – 765,000 (7.2 rtg).

Mihai Bendeac’s show rerun was also in audiences’ top, claiming the 4th place in January, with an average of 673,000 urban viewers. Good audiences were registered also by a show with Romanian director Sergiu Nicolaescu, broadcasted after his death and that attracted 654,000 viewers.

Pro TV betted on movies in January, with the only shows gathering audiences being Happy Hour and a rerun for “Help yourself, please!”, watched by 410,000 viewers.
