CNA decided, eventually, to sanction the tabloid shows La Maruta (Pro TV) and Acces Direct (Antena 1) for disrespecting the legislation on minors protection, after the show presented, as a main subject, the personal life of the manele singer Nicolae Guta. The subject was waiting on CNA’s table since January 9th .
Access Direct received a RON 70.000 fine, while its Pro TV rival got a RON 50,000 fine.
The main problem with the shows, that presented the scandal between Guta’s wife and his lover, was the language used by the interviewed protagonists and the way they presented themselves in the shows (mainly the way they dressed).
