Ruxandra Ion, “telenovelas’ mum”, was removed from Pro TV group, same as Cosmin Ion, the chief of MediaPro Entertaintent. Their separation from Pro TV happened yesterday, after a discussion with Aleksandras Cesnavicius, chief of CME operations in Romania.
Ruxandra Ion started to work in Pro TV since the beginning of the station. The first production made in Pro was the show for children Abracadabra. Afterwards, she launched and managed Acasa TV. She coordinated all the telenovelas launched by the station, such are Only Love, Gypsy Heart, Regina and State of Romania. During the last period, Ruxandra Ion was practically coordinating all the fiction productions made by Pro.
In the end of last year, Ruxandra Ion opened a talents school - TV & Film Academy by Ruxandra Ion – that will have acting classes, TV and movie directing and production classes, screenwriting, TV hosts ,dance, make-up and style.
Cosmin Ion was managing Media Pro Entertainment, entity that reunited TV production for group’s channels: fiction (Las Fierbinţi, A Crazy Week, A New Life) and the big shows (Voice of Romania, Romanians got talent, I dance for you and Master Chef).
