Viitor la purtator (Future payable to bearer) is a project for journalists from Decat o Revista /DoR Media Association and ING Life Insurances and is taking place from April to December 2014.
The project is a journalism contest approaching social themes and will see 5 scholarships awarded for making extensive journalistic materials to explore Romanians’ relationship with their personal future.
The project can enter the competition until May 9th, with winners to be announced on May 19th.
The contest aims to generate journalistic materials to help acknowledge better the problems individuals must consider when planning their personal future, as a press release from Decat o Revista explains.
The financing will go to the proposals that take in consideration the social changes in today’s Romania, the nature of the relations between the individual and family, state, society and the way those transform will influence the society in the future.
The competition is open to all journalists interested in developing editorial projects – reportages, investigations, portraits – on the proposed subject. The journalists can be or not employees or collaborators of media institutions.
The jury that will select the projects includes Gabriel Dobre - editorDoR, Adrian Lungu - Senior Editor DoR, Mircea Vasilescu – editor-in-chief Dilema Veche, Cristian Pantazi – editor-in-chief Hotnews and Carmen Soare – Marketin Director ING Life Insurances. Each selected project will be financed with Euro 1.000
