A discussion on a possible regulation of the internet generated a scandal between CNA member Narcisa Iorga and institution’s president, Laura Georgescu.

During April 24th meeting, Georgescu said, talking about regulating the internet: “we could make the first step and o forward to considering a modification of the Audiovisual Media Services Directive”.

Soon after this statement, Iorga mentioned, on her personal blog, that CNA’s president “wants to control the internet”. In reply, Georgescu said, in a press release, that anyone affirming that “is going to regulate the internet must first introduce rules in Cosmos”.
