According to the activity report of Romanian Public Radio, the ad revenues obtained by SRR from selling advertising in 2012 were of Euro 617.433, down 53% compare to the previous year, according to Forbes.
The total advertising budgets attracted by SRR in 2012 was of RON 2.74M, 53% smaller than in 2011 and 35% lower than in 2010
Ad revenues represent 1.2% from SRR’s own income, that total Euro 48.77M. SRR gets most of the money from the radio tax, that reached to Euro 45.88M, 2.4 times higher than the advertising budgets attracted by the Romanian radio market in 2012, estimated to Euro 19M.
SRR’s net profit in 2012 was of Euro 14,150 .
