A Romanian TVR team leaves for Greece to reflect, from the place, the situation created after Greek Government decided to close the public television.
TVR’s team will make a series of materials and interviews with ordinary people and journalists from Greek public TV and commercial media to see what is the impact of closing a public channel in an European country.
The materials will be broadcasted in TVR’s news shows.
On June 11 Greek prime minister, Antonis Samaras, a letter demanding “using all possible means to revert this decision”.
Athena Government proposed, on June 14, to the government coalition to partially reopen the public radio-TV, after a series of protests.
