Discovery Group is interested in taking over Prima TV from SBS Broadcasting, according to media sources. This is the 3rd company that shows interest in taking over Prima TV.
Contacted by Paginademedia.ro, Discovery’s representatives declined to make any coments related to the speculations on the market.
Antenna Group, Greek media company, and RCS&RDS are other companies interested by Prima TV. Recently, Dragos Stanca, Managing Partner Think Digital, said that the Greek group Antenna Group is interested to enter Romanian market by buying Prima TV.
Previous to that, Catalin Tolontan said that RCS&RDS negotiated with SBS the take over of the generalist TV.
