RCS&RDS demanded the registration of Digi Online brand and plans to launch a TV distribution service over the internet, Mediafax writes, quoting media sources.
On November 12th, RCS&RDS demanded Romanian Sate Office for Inventions and Brands (OSIM) to register “Digi Online” brand, with 2 forms of graphical representation.
RCS&RDS demanded registering the rand for Telecom, Advertising and Education sectors. Also, on December 1st, RCS&RDS bought digi-online.ro domain.
Media sources stated, for Mediafax, that RCS&RDS plans to launch online distribution of TV programs, as this is the only service it lacks from its portfolio.
Until now, RCS&RDS didn’t submitted to CNA the documentation needed to obtain a decision based on which it could launch the service
