Paunescu family, still without licence for Gazeta de Sud TV after the 2nd try

CNA rejected approving an audiovisual licence for Media Sud Europa SA’s Gazeta de Sud TV channel.

The representatives of the company came for the 2nd time in front of CNA, after the 1st presence on November 14th, when the Council decided to postpone a decision because the proposed name, GDS TV, was similar with an NGOs name.

If the licence was approved, Gazeta de Sud TV would have had a programs schedule including only own programming.

The main shareholder of Media Sud Europa S.A is George Constantin Paunescu, that also owns shares in B1 TV.
