Winter Olympics, that will take place this year at Soci (Russia), will be broadcasted for the 1st time in Republic of Moldavia, according to Evz.md.
Moldova 1, the public TV, bought the TV rights and will broadcast for the first time in country’s history the Winter Olympics. The package includes 76 hours of live broadcasting, many from hokey, a very popular sport among Moldavians.
The TV program related to Olympics includes the big finals for figure skating, biathlon, sky, bob and sleight. Each day, Moldova 1 will also broadcast Olympic news journals. Moldavian public TV will also broadcast the opening and closing ceremonies of the Games
