Romanian State TV announced in an internal communication that it will insure counseling for “employees that receive a leave notice so they can be able to start a PFA or a micro-entreprise, as it is stipulated within SRTv’s Economic Recovery Program”.

Starting this week, there will be organized “free trainings for professional reconversion for TVR employees that received a leave notice. Those trainings are exclusively for women”, as TVR communication informs.

Romanian state TV offers to all its employees that will leave its team trainings in accountability, accredited by ANC (National Authority for Qualifications). TVR women employees that are among people to be fired will attend 40 hours of classes and will have counseling and assistance in starting their own businesses.

Romanian State TV started, at the end of last year, a restructuring process that included firing 627 people.

Also, TVR’s management continues to look for solutions “to offer this sort of trainings to all TVR’s employees that were announced that they will be fired”
