Radio Romania Actualităţi received a public summons from CNA because of a show during which Romanian actor Dan Puric said Romania is leaded “by a mafiot nest” and “a bunch of securists”.

CNA considered that the host of the show didn’t ask the guest to justify the appreciations he made; the sanction was based on art.40 of Audiovisual Code, saying that “programs hosts have the obligation not to use and not to allow their guests to use an injurious language or to instigate to violence”.

The show where the incriminated statements were made is “Sunday Marathon”, produced by Alexandru Rusu; in present, the program isn’t in public radio’s programs schedule.
