Romanian Bureau for Transmedia Audit (BRAT) introduced a simplified and less expensive audit procedure for publications with a circulation of up to 7.500 copies, an important measure to support small publishers to have easier access to advertising budgets, as the market matures, Mediafax writes.
According to a press release, the measure – covering already April 2014 – March 2015 period – comes to meet the increasing trend among advertising clients that want to buy media more based on stardarized criteria than „beautiful words”.
Concretely, the new service introduced by BRAT allows publications with low circulation to benefit the same auditing standards, neutral, transparent and recognized within the industry, as the big publications. The price for audit that applies to small publishers is of around RON 1000 per year.
Audit helps local publications to individualize in the market, inclusively through reporting to the national press, and to show what audiences they have and the profile of their readers.
